Embellish is a distinctive decorative painting and faux finishing company. We offer a breadth of technical expertise ranging from authentic Venetian plaster to whimsical children's rooms.

Kada Goalen, artist and owner of Embellish, has an extensive portfolio whose work can be found in homes and business all over the Twin Cities. Creating a personal touch is important to Embellish. That is why Kada works one on one with clients to realize their individual needs.

Kada studied art at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts, graduating with honors. At Amherst, she was introduced to a traditional style of painting steeped in history. She learned to paint in the style of the "Old Masters," studying the techniques of artists such as Michelangelo and Caravaggio. This inspired travel to Florence, Italy. There, Kada studied amongst her mentors; sculpting in plaster, exploring museums, and sketching amidst other artists.

After six years in Massachusetts and Florence, Kada returned to Minnesota to start Embellish. She has continued to create for both commercial and residential spaces ever increasing her passion for art.
